I was born and raised in beautiful South Lake Tahoe and I am the youngest of six siblings. I am privileged to have a lively family with lots of comedy.

I enjoy people who adapt well to change, are environmentally conscious and who have an attitude of gratitude. Growing up, I learned that service, quality and cash flow will make or break a business. My dad has owned and operated a small carpet cleaning business in a seasonal town for the last 45 years. I think he worried too much. He was not going to fail.

I worked in restaurants and retail for 15 years. Attending college was never on the table. But I made it happen, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 2012, and a Master's degree in Business in 2017.

After my Bachelor’s I couldn’t get an Accounting job because I had no accounting experience.

My husband and I found out we had our first child on the way the week before finals of my senior year. Plans changed. I chose to know and raise my daughter rather than work long hours in public accounting. I needed a new plan. I took the first temp job offered since I was starting to show. It would have been easier and I would have made more money if I had just gone back to being a waitress. But my Dad had told me that college was a bad idea because most people get into debt and never use their college degrees.

I looked at the statistics. He was right and still is. I played those stats in my mind over and over throughout college. I would not be that person. I started my accounting career as a payroll clerk. Within 2 years I was promoted to Financial Controller and worked in corporate accounting for midsize restaurant chains for the next 4 years. During that experience I saw a need for business process change. Everyone was still on paper for one thing. The red tape was annoying and made progress very slow.

I started my business to help my clients recognize opportunities in providing excellent customer and employee experiences. Upholding these values leads to higher profits naturally, long term.

I value learning, personal growth, dining out, hotels, hiking, golf, snorkeling, camping, travel, theme parks, singing, dancing and spending time with friends and family. I am blessed with two beautiful kids and my awesome husband.

Implementation and design of the company-wide paperless process resulting in ongoing annual savings over six figures. Company-wide process improvement, design and implementation. Substantially improved the morale of the Accounting department.
